The history of the Russian Pediatric Journal began in 1998, when it was established by the Medicina publishing house as an original scientific and practical publication for doctors working with children - pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, infectious disease specialists, pediatric sociologists.  The journal actively publishes young scientists, graduate students and doctoral students who present scientific reviews and the results of their own research.  The journal pays considerable attention to issues of bioethics and teaching of pediatrics.  The authors of the journal timely respond to the challenges of the time, presenting the necessary clinical data on the features of the course of COVID-19 in children, methods of treatment and outcomes.  In modern conditions, publications of the journal are widely used in telemedicine consultations, which are constantly carried out by the National Medical Research Center for Children's Health.
